Held on 08/15/2026 in Howard, NY. More details and images to follow soon!

I came to Avoca and Hees Park to tell a story. Not one so much about the nuts and bolts of Field Day itself, but rather intrinsically about people who love amateur radio—and about coming together to build lifelong memories! My photography tagline is “I See Things…”, and in most cases what I see is not about what people are doing, but who they are in those moments spent doing it. What I see I usually interpret in monochrome, and pull subjects forward from what's around them--sort of like a spotlight on a stage.  What is it that the bard wrote? Ah yes, “All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players…” At the risk of making a bad pun on the name of the play this quote comes from, ‘I hope you like them…’ All images in the 2026 KLARA, and the archival 2012 KLARA galleries can be downloaded to your personal computer or smartphone as a web quality 1600x1067px (landscape orientation) or 933x1400px (portrait orientation) PNG format files. I am posting them under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC license, which allows one to use them for any purpose excepting commercial. My thanks to everyone who was there for allowing me the opportunity to tell my version of your story…
